LaToya has over 15 years of experience working in health care administration. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Community Health with a concentration in Health Care Administration. She also has a Master’s degree in Health Systems Management. She has worked in several management and leadership positions at large academic medical centers. Her passion for helping others grew out of watching loved ones suffering from chronic illness. She also saw the toll caregiving took on her father-in-law when he passed away caring for her mother-in-law so she understands the need for respite. In addition to her day to day work, LaToya works to enhance the lives of residence in the Austin community through her volunteer work. She is also a member of the community policing initiatives. LaToya is a devoted wife and mother working to provide a legacy her family will be proud of.
